My Favorite Meditation Program

I meditate every morning. My favorite meditation program is Oprah & Deepak 21 Day Meditation Experience. This is a free guided meditation program which runs for 21 days. I enjoy Oprah’s short talk which introduces many spiritual concepts and books, and then Deepak’s spiritual explanation.

I’ve been using this program since 2016. 2016 is when we found out that my son had a brain cancer and he went through brain surgeries, radiation treatment, and chemo therapy. It was the year he lost his ability to walk and talk. It was the year we had to face and accept the reality and move forward. Then the next 4 years were the years to fight cancer. And finally, to face his death and accept that new reality.

Throughout these years, I believe this meditation program helped me to calm myself down, ground myself, have better focus in life. More than anything, it gave me a habit of meditation. This program makes it easy to commit for 21 days. Even after finishing one program, I started doing meditation on my own. At first, it was just a few minutes. It was just a few days a week. But gradually, it got longer and it became an everyday routine.
